At this years Sheffield Play Awards, we will be celebrating all those who have completed training with us over the last year. We also invite organisations across Sheffield that provide play opportunities for school-age children to put forward nominations for the Sheffield Play Partnership’s Play Awards 2025. These awards shine a spotlight on the people who make play possible—those whose energy, creativity and commitment help children thrive. Whether your team runs after-school clubs, adventure playgrounds, community sessions, holiday schemes or neighbourhood play events, this is your chance to celebrate the individuals who go above and beyond to bring joy, confidence and connection to the children of Sheffield.
We welcome nominations for any staff member, volunteer, trustee or community member who has made a particularly positive contribution to children’s play over the past year. This might be someone who consistently inspires imaginative play, champions inclusive opportunities, strengthens community involvement, or has shown exceptional dedication to supporting children’s well-being through play. By sharing their story, you’ll help us recognise the unsung heroes who enrich children’s lives every day. Let’s come together to celebrate their impact at the Sheffield Play Awards 2025.
