Playing Well Together – our training provision for schools
Schools can choose individual elements to match their priorities, budget and timetable; offering short term interventions or building over time to support and embed change.
Play is central to children’s wellbeing, relationships, confidence, belonging and development.
Play is an essential part of children’s wellbeing and development, supporting many of the foundations they need to thrive in school. Child-led play allows children to experience manageable challenges, cope with setbacks, negotiate with others and develop their own solutions, helping to strengthen emotional regulation and resilience. Active play also creates valuable opportunities for movement throughout the day. By giving children space to release energy, manage emotions and reconnect with others, free play can help them return to the classroom feeling calmer, more settled and ready to learn.
