I spent 15 years in London working on play projects including school holiday clubs and mobile play projects but mostly adventure playgrounds. I have managed 3 adventure playgrounds over the years, always making sure I'm prioritising face to face Playwork.  One of these playgrounds won London Adventure Playground of the year!
I really love the connection between theory and practice in playwork and studied for a post-graduate certificate in Professional Studies in Children's Play with the University of Gloucestershire.
I also really love the very practical day-to-day-ness of running settings and I am an APIA approved adventure playground specialist health and safety inspector.
I've found so much richness in Playwork and I love supporting other people to discover it too.
