Volunteer Helpers & Playworkers

Term Time

Saturdays 9:30am until 3:30pm supporting children with a verity of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Mon – Fri at the After School Club including helping walk children to MASKK from local schools, part of the mile a day challenge.
Thursdays to support our Active Kids.

 School Holidays

We are busy Monday to Friday
8:00am until 6:30pm providing a range of activities and services. Volunteers enable us to enhance these and even offer more.
All of our holiday activities include meals too and we rely on volunteers to help prepare and serve these.

 

  • To be fun, friendly and welcoming, demonstrating patience and an understanding that not all children are the same.
  • To be part of a team to help provide fun and engaging play sessions in a caring environment that allow children to grow and develop.
  • To join in with play, games and activities, encouraging the children that find it hard and assisting those with barriers.

All volunteer roles are subject to an interview and Enhanced DBS Disclosure (paid for by MASKK)

In return for volunteering MASKK are able to offer training, experience and guidance.
